Formulation of Mathematical Model for Stress-Strain Relationship of Normal and High Strength Concrete Under Compression

Abstract The research includes a new model proposed for the stress-strain relationship of unconfined concrete in compression valid normal and high strength concrete. A wide range experimental data with varied lab circumstances has been used fitting other verifying model. It is noted that current good agreement both its ascending descending branches Depending on mean average values to calculated stresses, coefficient variation, difference ratio. Where stresses ranged from 0.723 1.354 38 samples 0.994, while variation 16.099 48.562 27.704 % these specimens. Also, ratio 0.86 31.804 9.009 gives best results comparison models.
